Starvation affects one billion people worldwide; one sixth of the world's population. Malnutrition* and starvation are the causes of half of the fatalities of all children who die. Malnutrition is also evident in Thailand, the rice basket of the world, where many underprivileged children are families in rural areas face hunger and a struggle with poverty.
